Kiwi Joseph Parker is risking his WBO interim championship and chance to compete for the world title on the line against the perfect Wardley at the premier boxing arena.

Reigning division king Usyk has made clear his intention to defend his championship titles against the victor.

"It all comes down to this. It signifies all," stated a focused but concentrated Wardley, aged 30, at Friday's scale ceremony.

Wardley - who holds the WBA 'interim' belt - weighed in at seventeen stone five pounds, in line with his recent bouts.

"This contest leading up to the ultimate challenge. All the work is done. Preparation is wrapped up. All the hard work is done. Let's get some relaxation now. Major event tomorrow," he added.

Spitalfields Market in the capital's east saw beyond typical items on the measure as the both fighters faced off for the ultimate face-off prior to fight night.

Joseph Parker winked at the photographers and bobbed along to the beat.

As he flexed his physique, he looked hefty and forceful as he weighed in at 119 kg, merely five pounds below than his peak weight.

It is a significant difference from the 16st 12lb iteration who was defeated his belt to Joshua in 2018.

"We are cautious, we are careful, but I'm going to respond with equal force and I'm going to get him," Parker stated.

I operate on a superior tier and will overpower him - Joseph Parker

Fabio Wardley, wearing an Ipswich top, held a straight face, acknowledged the crowd, but looked zoned in.

Despite being the less heavy fighter, Fabio Wardley has outstanding knockout power. He delivered a thrilling recovery versus Justis Huni in the summer, trailing on the judges' cards then stopping his opponent in the 10th round although being outmaneuvered for most of the contest.

"Parker, his camp and supporters will learn I belong to be at the top of this weight class," Fabio Wardley said.

"Every opponent has been the fighter critics predict will overcome me. This is the one. His attributes include superior speed, rapid, too experienced. But I remain unbeaten so far, and no one will change on fight night."
